Brief overview
U.S. Folder Company came to us looking for a highly customized e-commerce website that would allow them to sell standard and custom folders online. This is a unique approach in the custom folder industry, where almost all orders are taken over the phone.
To save on overhead, we built the site in the WordPress CMS and integrated it with the FoxyCart shopping cart platform. U.S. Folder is able to track inventory and orders through the CMS, and can even leave comments on orders and update order statuses using built-in WordPress functionality.
Perhaps the coolest feature of this site is a custom price estimator, which we built with jQuery. It pulls from a database of prices entered by U.S. Folder staff, and displays a live price to the customer based on options he chooses.
